We still have several volunteer opportunities available for Center Grove, Best of the Midwest on February 19 & 20.
You can sign up for any of the available opportunities in CutTime. Not sure how to sign up in CutTime? Here’s a video to show you how! You may also reach out directly to Jill Benvenutti to request your role.
Here is the latest news straight from Jill:
I know that we are all on the edge of our seats, waiting for the ticket sales to go live for Best Of The Midwest! There is some info that you might want to know before that time:
We are still in need of 2 Homeroom Parents for Electrum. It has been confirmed that our Homeroom Parents will receive a complimentary wristband for their admission to Electrum’s performance. Just something to show our appreciation for those willing to miss Sound and Golden Harmony to help out. (This also applies to the Sound Room Parents, but they had already volunteered before today, so I let them know personally.)
We also still need helpful hands before and after the competition:
We need 4 parents to help with Costumes at the end of Electrum’s Dress Rehearsal on Thursday. This would be from 5:00 to 6:45 PM. Sound is in need of 2 more parents to help with their costumes Thursday as well. This will be from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
If you have ANY amount of time available between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Friday, PLEASE consider helping our Stage Crew to pack and load the gear that we will be taking with us to Center Grove. You don’t have to know anything about stage gear; our directors and Backstage Boys will show you exactly what to do.
Last but not least, when you come back to FHS after the competition to pick up your kids, please consider sticking around for an hour or so to help unload the truck and bring everything back into the school. The more help we have, the quicker the job will be.
If you wish to sign up for any of these directly in Cut Time, they are waiting for you! If Cut Time isn’t your jam, just get in touch with me, and I will set you all up.
Thank you for reading to the end, and thank you even more for volunteering to help out Sound and Electrum!
